This project involved providing exclusive Behind The Scenes (BTS) photography for "Land of Fire," a significant historical documentary exploring testimonies of WWII survival in Istria. Our role was to document the entire filmmaking process, focusing on capturing the effort behind the detailed historical reenactments, set construction, and the collaborative work of the film crew
Challenge
The production of "Land of Fire," a sensitive historical documentary featuring testimonies and dramatic reenactments of WWII atrocities, required comprehensive Behind The Scenes (BTS) photography. The challenge was to visually document the complexity of filming historical scenes—including set design, costume work, and emotionally intense performances—while maintaining discretion and avoiding disruption to the delicate production environment.
Result
A curated photographic archive that successfully captured the atmosphere and scale of the film production. The images showcase the dedication of the directorial and technical teams, the meticulous detail of the period reenactments, and the overall narrative vision. These BTS assets provide invaluable promotional material for the documentary and serve as a professional record for the Level 52 production company.
