DANASBASKET
This project involved photography and videography for the DanasBasket 3×3 basketball tournament held in Labin in 2025. Alongside professional photo coverage, a modern, creative video edit was produced with an emphasis on fast-paced storytelling and youthful energy. The final content was designed to resonate with younger audiences and support online promotion and event branding.
Challenge
The DanasBasket 3×3 tournament in Labin brought together a large number of young players, spectators, and basketball enthusiasts at the iconic Đil location. The challenge was not only to document the event through photography and videography, but to visually translate the youthful energy, fast pace, and urban character of 3×3 basketball.
A conscious creative decision was made to move away from a classic event recap and instead apply a modern, more expressive video editing style, allowing greater creative freedom in rhythm, pacing, transitions, and music selection - aligned with the expectations of a younger audience.
Result
The final deliverables included a dynamic set of professional photographs and a high-energy aftermovie featuring fast cuts, modern transitions, rhythmic editing, and strong atmosphere-driven storytelling. The visuals successfully captured both the competitive intensity on the court and the vibrant crowd energy, making the content highly suitable for social media, digital promotion, and future editions of the event.
The project visually positioned DanasBasket 3×3 as a contemporary, youth-oriented sports event and strengthened its identity within the local urban culture scene.
